Tropical Getaway
Maldives is the perfect tropical getaway. It is made up of more than 1,000 coral islands and known for its beaches, blue lagoons and extensive reefs. From the remarkable undersea restaurant of Conrad Maldives Rangali Island to the Four Seasons Maldives annual surfing championship on KudaHuraa, there is plenty to see and do.
Exotic Getaway
The island of Bali is part of Indonesia and known for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, beaches and coral reefs. This isn’t all the Bali has to offer, though: It’s home to many stunning temple complexes over 1,000 years old. The island is also known for its yoga and meditation retreats.
Happy Place
One of my favorite places is Thailand. t’s known for tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, ancient ruins and ornate temples displaying figures of Buddha. From the majestic five-star hotels in Bangkok to simple beach huts in Koh Samui or Koh Samet, accommodation choices are many. From the stunning plains and hills of the Golden Triangle to the wave-lapped white sand beaches of Phuket, Samui and Krabi, the kingdom radiates beauty.
Beach
The beach is always one of the most relaxing places for me. I don’t have a worry in the world when my toes are in the sand! If you’re looking for a beach in the states, Newport Beach is one of my favorite California beaches. From sunset cruises to surf lessons, wine tastings to harbor-front promenades, Newport has much to offer and more ways to spend your stay.Â
Romantic Retreat Â
Looking for a private getaway to spend some quality time alone? The Boatshed is perfect for you. Just a short cruise from Auckland to the island of Waiheke, the Boatshed is a luxury boutique hotel with panoramic views of Oneroa Bay. If you are planning a romantic trip to New Zealand, ask for the Lighthouse suite, a three-story structure with spectacular ocean views and plan on ordering food while you watch the sailboats pass by.
Weekend Getaway
With Arizona being so hot, our weekend getaways typically involve escaping the dry desert heat. For us, one of the easiest ways to do so is to head up north to the beautiful town of Flagstaff. We’ve enjoyed staying at Little America before. In the winter time, they have a special Polar Express program for the little ones where they can board a bus and head to Santa’s workshop for a magical experience!
