Ultimate Hawaii Travel Guide

The Dole Plantation is located on the North Shore of Oahu, it is a 40 minute drive from Waikiki.  There is a bus from Waikiki that can take you there for $2.75 one way.  I’m not sure if its in my mind but the pineapple there is so sweet and absolutely delicious, make sure you get the Pineapple Dole Whip and then they cover it in fresh pineapple, yum yum yum! There are several tours that you can take while you are there:  Pineapple Express Train Tour, Plantation Garden Tour, and the Pineapple Garden Maze.

North Shore, Oahu

North Shore of Oahu is known for its surfing competitions, the waves on this side of the island can reach up to 20′ during the competition.  The best spot to view the surfers Euhaki Beach Park, this is where the surf breaks commonly also known as the Banzai Pipeline.

Kona & Hilo, The Big Island

All of the Islands of Hawaii have very distinct characteristics, if you have the chance you should visit each island to get a taste of culture and the beautiful landscape.  The Big Island is known for its volcano of course, so one side of the island its very beachy while the other is more volcanic rock.

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is excellent blog. A great read. I will definitely be back.
